Vendep's B2B Camp winner makes compliance a competitive advantage for its customers

Vendep Startup Fund’s second B2B Camp was organized to identify Finnish startups with early revenue and excellent potential to pursue growth opportunities in Europe and the USA. The best growth plan was presented by Plan Brothers offering enterprise SaaS applications for Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC). The Camp participants were 12 promising startups selected from Vendep’s September deal flow.

The event was organized as working lunch meetings where the participating startups presented and then received individual feedback on their growth and financing plans. Vendep’s team shared the experiences gathered from the 18 active startups in the company’s portfolio.

"We were obviously pleased to hear about our success in the Camp and look forward to an opportunity to work with Vendep’s team in the future. The discussions and feedback helped us to finalize our growth plans for next year. Consequently, we have decided to open a one million euro financing round to accelerate our growth and to launch our products in the UK and Scandinavia,” Plan Brothers CEO Arttu Vesterinen says.

Vendep Startup Fund’s next pitching and coaching event will be organized next spring in Berlin or London in cooperation with a partnering startup accelerator. This event will target 15-20 Finnish early-stage companies looking to raise an international Series A round.

Vendep Startup Fund is building an international network of accelerators and investors based in strategic European hubs, such as London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. The partner network, together with Vendep’s portfolio companies already operating in the area, will offer startups their network, advice and help in entering the European and US markets and securing further financing.
