Helsinki-based Meetin.gs has been announced winner in the Best Web App category at the TNW Startup Rally 2013 in Amsterdam.
Meetin.gs helps you schedule and manage meetings online and offline. The service has just been relaunched with a renewed focus on mobile.
Users have a fully brandable page where they can create and publish a calendar page. The service plugs into the user's calendar, so occupied time slots are automatically blocked out. Venues are also included so that travel times and the length of meetings can be accounted for.
Meetin.gs also offers a Chrome extension which plugs into LinkedIn, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Highrise.
Once meetings are booked, they can be found on a timeline so you can browse through meeting times, tasks, and documents.
The product boasts a user base of 22,000. The basic features are free to use, but paid services offer more integrations, storage space, and branding opportunities.
Sixteen finalists and four wildcards chosen from the exhibitors at the conference had to pitch a panel of judges in various categories.
Judges also selected the UK's Powered Now as Best Mobile App, Latvia's Infogr.am as Best Startup Overall while Spain's Tyba won the Public Vote Winner.
